By making better use of data, urban traffic and transport can be improved and made more efficient and sustainable, and cities can become more liveable and attractive. To be able to make better use of data, it is important that data is open and shared. Open data means making information from an organization available to all, often free of charge and with few, if any, restrictions placed on all sides. To encourage cities and (public transport) companies to open their data more than they do now (so that useful things can be done with the data), in this free webinar organised by CIVITAS WIKI and the CIVITAS Thematic Group Transport Telematics some success stories on open data and data sharing will bepresented and discussed.
